Open Claude and go to **Customize → Connectors**.\n2. Choose **+ Add → Add custom connector**. On managed Team/Enterprise accounts, your organisation's administrator may need to add the custom connector first.\n3. Enter **Everything** as the name and the remote server address:\n\n   `https://everything.emlynoregan.com/mcp/`\n\n4. Review the authentication choices. Select **No sign in** for public reading. You do not need an Everything username, API key or other credential.\n5. Finish adding the connector. In your conversation, use the **+ → Connectors** selector to turn Everything on.\n\nClaude reaches the remote service over the internet. Nothing needs to run on your computer.\n\n## Make your first request\n\n> Use Everything's `get_page` tool to read `/beyond-the-application/the-disappearing-interface`. Explain its main claim and link to the article.\n\nYour assistant should call a tool rather than generating an answer from memory.\n\n## What next?\n\nAsk Claude to compare linked articles, recommend a reading path or find other pages related to an idea. Everything provides published content for reading and search only; visitors cannot modify it.\n\nIf your plan or organisation doesn't show the custom connector option, check the client feature availability.
