{"path":"/guide","content":{"title":"Everything","summary":"Explore connected ideas by topic—or connect your AI agent for free to read, search and follow the wiki through MCP.","body":"Everything is a growing collection of connected ideas, articles and documentation. Start with a topic, then follow its subtopics, collections and articles. The hierarchy provides a way in; links between articles let you follow ideas across it.\n\n## Bring your agent\n\n**Everything is made for AI agents to read.** It's deliberately easy for an agent to navigate: a free, public, read-only **MCP connection** lets your assistant discover topics, search articles, follow related ideas and read the pages directly. No Everything account, API key or payment is required to connect and read. (Your AI provider may have its own charges or plan requirements.)\n\nYour **human eyeballs are very welcome**, of course. But they're optional—and reading everything yourself might not even be the best experience. You can ask an agent to explore the wiki for you, find the ideas that matter to your question, follow the connections and discuss what it finds.\n\n**[Connect your agent to Everything](/guide/getting-started/connect-agent)** — step-by-step guides for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and VS Code.\n\nTry asking: *“Read Agents & Applications in Everything, follow the linked arguments, and tell me which ideas are most interesting.”*\n\n## Topics\n\n### [Software & Agents](/topics/software-and-agents)\n\nIdeas about the changing shape of software: agent-mediated products, hybrid human–agent interfaces, dynamic UI, software discovery and disaggregation.\n\nStart with [Agents & Applications](/beyond-the-application), a collection of essays supported by focused concept articles.\n\nExplore **[sUTL](/sutl)** for a pure language whose programs are structured values: a practical guide, language reference, worked examples and the ideas behind portable computation.\n\n### [AI & Society](/topics/ai-and-society)\n\nIdeas about how artificial intelligence changes rights, markets, culture and power.\n\nStart with [Copyright Claims Are Cheap. Challenging Them Isn't.](/topics/ai-and-society/copyright-claims-are-cheap), an examination of US copyright, AI-assisted authorship, corporate ownership claims and the prospect of new private formalities.\n\nAnd read **[No Register, Plenty of Copyright Claims](/topics/ai-and-society/australian-copyright-claims)**, its Australian companion on automated works, the absence of copyright registration, and the commercial ambiguity surrounding ownership claims.\n\n### [About Everything](/topics/about-everything)\n\nHow to navigate the wiki, connect AI assistants, and understand its public interfaces and architecture. This topic includes its own deeper hierarchy, such as [How Everything works](/guide/how-it-works) → [wf-store](/guide/how-it-works/wf-store) → [assets and renditions](/guide/how-it-works/wf-store/assets).\n\n## Other ways to explore\n\n- **[Latest articles](/latest)** — read new articles in chronological order, newest first.\n- [Search](/search) across topics and articles.\n- [Explore](/browse) published pages and filter by collection.\n\nTopics can be subdivided as the corpus grows; an article may be linked from more than one branch without being copied. The hierarchy is for browsing, not a restriction on how ideas connect.\n\n*This is an evolving collection. Only topics with real content are listed here.*"}}
